Announcements: What is Millin up to?
New OMIG Over-payment Self-Disclosure Program Requirements
According to the Office of the Medicaid Inspector General, (OMIG), changes are being made to the Self-Disclosure Program Requirements.
"Providers are required to report, return, and explain any over payments they have received to the New York State Office of the Medicaid Inspector General (OMIG) Self-Disclosure Program within sixty (60) days of identification, or by the date any corresponding cost report was due, whichever is later."
Millin will have reports available within the MillinPro System to help its clients identify a variety of over-payments that may occur. Having access to these reports will make it less burdensome/time-consuming for agencies to comply with the new OMIG regulations.
Please use the resources below for more information about OMIG's over-payment self-disclosure requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions About Medicaid Insurance for New Yorkers Enrolled Through LDSS or the New York City HRA
Due to requirements in federal law and other flexibilities, you have been enrolled in Medicaid without having to renew your insurance every year. However, federal law has changed and regular renewal processes will resume over the course of a year, beginning in Spring 2023. Your Local Department of Social Services (LDSS) or the New York City Human Resources Administration (HRA) will notify you when it is time for you to renew each year.
